Product Description
The 3- through 6-irons house a fully enclosed, foam-filled compartment located directly behind the clubface and beneath the cavity badge. TaylorMade refers to this chamber as the "Velocity Control Chamber" because it is meant to create a higher launch angle, more power, and optimal feel. Moreover, the weightless soft feel foam of Taylormade R9 Forged Irons allows the engineers to have an ultrathin (2.0 mm) face that wraps around the topline and leading edge. When the face flexes at impact, it is meant to act like a thin-faced driver and result in a higher CoR, faster ball speed, and added distance.

* Velocity-Control Chamber (VCC) delivers a significant increase in COR to promote distance.
* Progressive changes in Taylormade R9 Forged Irons head construction and face thickness from short-irons to long-irons results in increased control for short-irons and increased ball speed in long-irons.

There are a couple new Irons from Taylormade including these stunning Taylormade Burner Forged irons and the R9 MAX Irons coming this November. These irons are set for global release in both the USA & Japan. They are a forged cavity back with decent sized perimeter weighting for forgiveness on off center impact. It's got a very deep cavity with no undercut which should further enhance it's feel. Anytime Taylormade produces a forged product its always a great thing.
Taylormade Japan has some new releases prepared for announcement at the 2010 Tokyo Golf Show Including one we have all been waiting for the R9 Forged Irons. The standard R9 Forged Iron is made using a cast steel body with a soft forged mild S25C face and features an undercut cavity to increase forgiveness. The R9 Forged standard model features #3 thru #7 irons with a two piece construction while #8 to PW uses one piece forged construction. The target player for the standard R9 Forged model is mid- low handicap golfer while at the same time Tour Pro's in Japan do intend to put this set into use.

Is the callaway x24 an original callaway, first class set?
Nice club and great to help line up my shot. The club is probably a bit too adjustable and you can hit all kinds of bad shot then perhaps a few lessons would have been more beneficial.

The TaylorMade Burner SuperFast 2.0 Driver is the Best Taylormade Driver! After used this driver, I actually gained 30 yards on my drive. I also measured my swing speed at the local golf store and I found that I gained 5-8 mph. WOW... I have to agree Taylormade #1 in driver! ... oh did I mention, the white head looks awesome!!!!
